Team Inside Pitch is looking for athletes to compete as a part of Team IP 16U that will travel to Phoenix, Arizona for the 2014 16u Perfect Game MLK Championship. If you would like to be considered for this prestigious event please contact us immediately. We have a limited number of positions available. Players for this tournament have to be age 16 or under as of January 17th.
This event is world class and takes place at the home of the Dodgers and White Sox MLB spring training centers, in Phoenix, AZ. Players stay together at a hotel close to the complex. Parents are welcome to attend but it is not necessary.

Q. What is Perfect Game?
A. Perfect Game is the largest and most complete amateur baseball scouting service in the world, hosting more than 100 showcases and tournaments each year. PG hosts showcases all over the United States that feature many of the best young players in the country. PG showcases are the perfect platform to see how you stack up with the best players in the country.
Q. Why Perfect Game and how can this benefit my son?
A. Perfect Game gives players a quality environment to be seen by college coaches and Major League scouts. Coaches from nearly all of the 309 NCAA Division I programs regularly attend these events, along with coaches from Division II, Division III, NAIA and junior colleges. All 30 Major League teams also send scouts to PG events, greatly enhancing each player’s visibility. PG events also give players an opportunity to gauge their skills against their peers and have a positive experience.
Q. How many games in the tournament?
A. We are guaranteed 4 games and must be ready to play Friday, January 17th, 2014.
Q. How many players are you taking?
A. To ensure all players get playing time we will take a max of 16 players.
Q. What type of facilities will we be playing at?
A. We are playing all of our games at Camelback Ranch, spring training home to the LA Dodgers and White Sox of MLB.
Q. What is the cost? (Parents responsible for airfare – use air-miles if you choose!)
A.1) $900 + GST (includes hotel for 5 nights, breakfast at hotel, transportation to and from airport and park if needed, entry into event, IP Hat, Shirt, Shorts)
A.2) $600 + GST – if traveling with parents and staying with parent or gaurdian
Q. What if my son doesn’t attend Inside Pitch – can he still play on this team?
A. We welcome all young athletes looking to gain exposure and test their ability against top competition across the USA. In addition we help you make the contacts you need to get to the college level. There will be a couple of mandatory workouts prior to the trip but you don’t have to be enrolled at IP to attend this trip.
