Team IP – Spring Training Trip

SPRING TRAINING TRIP
Vero Beach, Florida
March 14th-22nd, 2014

Once again, Inside Pitch will be heading south with a group of prospects to give Saskatchewan kids the opportunity to gain experience, exposure, and confidence at the college level. Director of Player Development at IP, Morgan Reiter, will be the head coach of this prospects team and will work with other IP instructors during on-field workouts, skill development sessions, and college games to ensure all participants leave this experience with the knowledge and tactical ability to play at the next level. Having personally played at and placed over 80 students on college scholarships around the USA and Canada we know what it takes to play at the college and professional level. We will work closely with each student to improve his level of play needed to garner scholarship opportunities as well as showcase these students’ abilities to college coaches and scouts.

Introducing the nation’s newest College Baseball Spring Training program. Vero Beach Sports Village, is the longtime spring training home of the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers and is widely recognized as one of baseball’s greatest historic treasures.

Vero Beach Sports Village combines state-of-the-art facilities in a nostalgic setting that will take you back in time to baseballs golden era.

Vero Beach Sports Village, formerly known as Dodgertown, was designed to give teams the opportunity to train, live, and play together in a unique environment where athletes could develop their skills to the highest level. College Baseball Spring Training will provide Inside PItch Prospects team the opportunity to train on the same hallowed grounds once occupied by Hall of Fame legends Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Don Drysdale, Sandy Koufax, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Don Sutton and Tommy Lasorda.

Dates:
March 14th to 22nd, 2014.

Format:
Combination of on-field workouts, specialty cage and bullpen work, simulated games with on-field instruction, 5 college games against schools and clubs across USA. Playing time will be as equalized as possible. It is our objective to be competitive but also provide a positive learning experience for all those in attendance.

Costs:
$1100.00 plus GST – covers everything except airfare.

Deadlines:
$550.00 non-refundable no later than Dec. 1st. / Balance to be paid by January 1st.
